who tackle issues such as unemployment, crime, the environment, drug abuse, literacy and child abuse.
You will be helping thousands of disadvantaged children, young people, vulnerable adults, cancer patients, ex-offenders and disabled people
What we do
Pilotlight matches talented business people with charities and manages the relationship - together we coach the charities to become sustainable. For each charity we find 4 business people to coach the directors and trustees for 12-18 months. Pilotlight provides a project manager to guide the teams through our tried and tested model.
The result
Within 2 years of working with us charities and social enterprises increase their income by an average of 48%
They also reach 71% more people
90% of the charities say they improve their management skills
84% of business people say they are happier and more fulfilled in their work
To date, Pilotlight has provided £6.5m of services to more than 140 charities helping 3.3 million people
The future
With your help we can support more charities to become sustainable and to reach more vulnerable and disadvantaged people, across the UK and in the longer term, internationally.
In two years' time we plan to be working with 150 charities a year. To do this we need to raise £1 million.
