Fiona Halton, Chief Executive

Fiona Halton is the Chief Executive of Pilotlight.  She has a track record in initiating and running new organisations. She initiated British Film Year which won The British Sales and Marketing Award and for which she was runner up for Verve Cliquot Business Woman of the Year.  Fiona was part of the team that ran the first day of Comic Relief which raised more than £13 million.
 
As Acting Director of TimeBank she took it to national launch. It is now an established national campaign which, in partnership with the BBC, is inspiring a new generation of volunteers.

 Angela McCusker, Chief Executive, Pilotlight Scotland

Angela’s role is to build and develop Pilotlight in Scotland.  Her aim is to be working with 150 business members and 38 charities by August 2009.  Previously, she was International Finance Director for Ellesse, currently holds a number of Non-Executive Director roles and is also a Director of Ithaca Business.

Deborah Green, Chief Executive, Pilotlight London

Deborah is responsible for leading and developing Pilotlight London. Deborah has worked for Pilotlight for four years, initially as Assistant Director at Pilotlight London, and more recently leading the establishment of Pilotlight Scotland. Before joining Pilotlight, Deborah spent 8 years working in brands marketing.

Gillian Murray, Head of Project Management

Gillian and the project management team are responsible for assessing new charity applications and managing the relationship between approved charities and Pilotlighters, guiding them through the Pilotlight process.  Gillian has been with Pilotlight since October 2005; her background is in training and international development.

Dan Ritman, Evaluation Manager

Dan evaluates Pilotlight's relationships with partner charities, to understand our impact and improve the way we work.  He also helps charities develop systems for measuring the differences they make in the lives of their beneficiaries.  Dan has worked in the charity sector for six years.

Shantel Irwin, Membership & Business Development Manager

Shantel is responsible for finding and recruiting new Pilotlighters and managing our member relationships.  Prior to joining Pilotlight in March 2007, Shantel worked for Microsoft and Newell Rubbermaid in her native Canada.

Katrina Morley-Fletcher, Project Leader - Pilotlight Wales and West

On the back of our successful launch in Scotland, Kat is responsible for investigating opening a Pilotlight office serving Wales and the West.  Prior to joining Pilotlight two years ago, Kat experienced first hand the challenges of working in a small charity, initiating and managing their health projects.  

Helen Lang, Senior Project Manager

Helen manages a portofolio of Pilotlighter and charity relationships, as well as leading on the recruitment of new charities to Pilotlight.  Prior to joining Pilotlight in 2006, Helen worked in the voluntary sector.  She also has a broad experience of working with small scale social enterprises and is on the board of trustees for a charity overseas.

Craig Carey, Project Manager

Before joining Pilotlight, Craig spent 3 years working as a Business Development advisor and consultant for an international NGO in the UK and local NGO in Africa.  Prior to that he worked for 7 years as a small business consultant and business analyst in the finance sector.  Craig manages a number of charity and Pilotlighter relationships.

Joe Swann, Project Manager

Joe has a background working with Welfare to Work providers and in Marketing for Pharmaceutical companies. He also has significant experience facilitating youth leadership programs and developing a series of conferences, looking at Corporate Social Responsibility, for a global NGO.  Joe manages various charity and Pilotlighter relationships.

Pete Smith, Project Manager

Prior to joining Pilotlight, Pete worked in a number of voluntary organsations both in the UK and overseas.  He most recently worked in Uganda on starting up a savings and credit co-operative before completing an MA in Social Policy and Social Development.  Pete now project manages a number of charities and their respective team of Pilotlighters.

Tracey Ould, PA to Chief Executive

Tracey is Fiona's PA and supports the Membership team.  Tracey has worked in various organisations prior to joining Pilotlight.  Latterly, she spent five years at a charity working in youth education.

Jackie Keith, Project Manager Administration

Jackie looks after the senior members of the Project Management team, helping with co-ordinating meetings between the Pilotlight teams and their charities; assisting with charity recruitment and induction events; and updating databases & information systems.  She has been working in the Charity/Not for Profit sector for the past 5 years, prior to which she was involved in Retail Management, marketing and special projects for over 20 years.

Gemma Davidson, PR Manager (PT)

Gemma joined Pilotlight in June 2007 to help us raise our profile and enable us to help more charities.  Gemma was previously a journalist and TV and radio producer, and still guest-produces BBC Women's Hour on Radio 4.

Fiona Ramsay, Membership Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Fiona is responsible for the recruitment and retention of business members, as well as developing and implementing communication and event strategy.  Before joining Pilotlight Scotland, she was a freelance communications consultant for a number of small charities and previously held buying, marketing and project management roles with Safeway, The Body Shop, Borders and WHSmith.

Michelle Davitt, Project Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Michelle is responsible for managing the relationships between Pilotlighters and charities. She facilitates the whole process from beginning to end. Michelle has over 6 years experience of working in the voluntary sector in Scotland, including managing a small charity.

Dehra Orme, Project Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Before joining Pilotlight, Dehra spent 3 years working in events and corporate fundraising for two Scottish charities. Prior to that she spent 4 years as a learning & development co-ordinator for a leading global retail firm, giving her significant experience of facilitating leadership and development courses. Dehra now project manages a number of charities and the associated Pilotlight teams.

Ann Jamieson, Administrator, Pilotlight Scotland

Annie joined Pilotlight in September 2007 as administrator, undertaking all the support functions for the Scotland team. Before having her son she was Operations Manager with a printing franchise.
