Deborah Xavier, Chief Executive, Pilotlight London

Deborah is responsible for leading and developing Pilotlight London. Deborah has worked for Pilotlight for four years, initially as Assistant Director at Pilotlight London, and more recently leading the establishment of Pilotlight Scotland. Before joining Pilotlight, Deborah spent 8 years working in brands marketing.

Dan Ritman, Evaluation Manager, Pilotlight London

Dan evaluates Pilotlight's relationships with partner charities, to understand our impact and improve the way we work.  He also helps charities develop systems for measuring the differences they make in the lives of their beneficiaries.  Dan has worked in the charity sector for six years.

 

Keith Short, Evaluation Officer, Pilotlight London

Keith joined Pilotlight in January 2009 and evaluates Pilotlight's relationship with partner charities. He previously worked as an intern in the Programme Funding Department at Oxfam, and before that as a researcher for an international guide to corporate law firms.

 

Marlijn Wijkhuizen, Membership & Business Development Manager, Pilotlight London

Marlijn is responsible for finding and recruiting new Pilotlighters and managing our member relationships, and building relationships with the Pilotlighters outside of their charity meetings. Prior to joining Pilotlight, Marlijn worked at the UK umbrella body for trees, managing a membership of 180 Third, Public and Private Sector organisations. Marlijn moved to London from Amsterdam where she was working as a Production Manager for a dance-theatre company.

 

Courtney Caplan, Membership & Business Development Manager, Pilotlight London

Courtney's is responsible for finding and recruiting new Pilotlighters and managing our member relationships, and building relationships with the Pilotlighters outside of their charity meetings. She previously worked with over 900 members of the Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau in Utah and managed marketing efforts for the Sundance Film Festival. Courtney moved to London from the US in 2007and joined Pilotlight in summer 2008.

Katherine Pruski, Membership Officer, Pilotlight London

Kat joined joined Pilotlight London's membership team in January 2010 as Membership Officer.  Previously, she provided administrative support for the Pilotlight London Office. Before joining Pilotlight  in 2008, she worked on a business support programme at the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff.

Helen Lang, Head of Project Management, Pilotlight London

Helen manages a portofolio of Pilotlighter and charity relationships, as well as leading on the recruitment of new charities to Pilotlight.  Prior to joining Pilotlight in 2006, Helen worked in the voluntary sector.  She also has a broad experience of working with small scale social enterprises and is on the board of trustees for a charity overseas.

  Joe Swann, Senior Project Manager (PT), Pilotlight London

Joe has a background working with Welfare to Work providers and in Marketing for Pharmaceutical companies. He also has significant experience facilitating youth leadership programs and developing a series of conferences, looking at Corporate Social Responsibility, for a global NGO.  Joe manages various charity and Pilotlighter relationships.

Fiona Fraser, Project Manager, Pilotlight London

Educated in Corporate Communications and Marketing, Fiona worked as a Project Manager in the commercial sector, while also volunteering within the charitable sector as a Marketing Assistant. Fiona then turned to International Development, and worked as a Project Manager for the Belize Ministry of Education, aiding to integrate ICT systems into the primary education system.  Having joined Pilotlight in May 2008, Fiona manages various charity and Pilotlighter relationships.

Crystal Waldman, Project Manager, Pilotlight London

Prior to joining Pilotlight, Crystal spent three years working as a Programme Officer for an international NGO based in Brussels. Crystal has experience in project management in the fields of international criminal justice and democracy and has worked in diverse countries including Sierra Leone, Yemen, Italy and the United States. Crystal joined Pilotlight in August 2008 and manages a number of charity and Pilotlighter relationships.

David King, Project Manager, Pilotlight London

Previously an Executive Director at UBS, David became involved in a business mentoring programme with a local school and subsequently left UBS to develop school to business mentoring. He has spent the last two years mentoring within schools. David will be bringing his business and mentoring experience to bear on managing the relationships between teams of Pilotlighters and charity managers.

Rohan Martyres, Project Manager, Pilotlight London

 

Rohan joined Pilotlight at the end of 2009.  His previous experience includes policy, project management, research and facilitation roles in the government, NGO and corporate sectors, in Australia, Nepal, Rwanda and the UK.

Pete Smith, Partnerships Manager, Pilotlight London

 

Pete joined Pilotlight (again) at the end of 2009, after travelling the world for a year.  Before his world tour, he was Project Manager at Pilotlight London.  Right now, Pete is focusing on charity recruitment and building partnerships in the UK to enable Pilotlight's future growth.

 

Jackie Keith, Project Manager Administration, Pilotlight London

Jackie has been working in the Charity/Not for Profit sector since 2003, prior to which she was involved in retail management, marketing and special projects for over 20 years.

Naomi Arrowsmith, Administrator, Pilotlight London

 

Naomi joined Pilotlight London as the Administrator in January 2010. Prior to that, she travelled the world, spending time in India, Australia, and China, among other exciting destinations.
