Chris Horne, Director, Pilotlight Scotland

Chris’s role is to develop the profile and scope of Pilotlight in Scotland.  His aim is to establish Pilotlight Scotland as the first point of call for business leaders wishing to engage with charities in a meaningful and highly managed way. Previously, he was senior managing consultant at Edinburgh-based Head Resourcing. He has 14 years' experience in the private sector and is a regular speaker at St Andrews University. 

Graeme Powrie, Membership Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Graeme is responsible for the recruitment and retention of business members, as well as developing and implementing communication and event strategy. He brings a wealth of customer service, sales and business development experience. Most recently, Graeme was Area Director of Sales and Origination at Bank of Scotland Commercial, based in Edinburgh.

Jason Dawes, Membership Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Jason is responsible for the recruitment and retention of business members, as well as developing and implementing communication and event strategy. Jason previously worked at Head Resourcing, where he was a Consultant in the Sales recruitment team.

Gemma Simpson, Membership and Development Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Gemma joined Pilotlight in April 2010 and is responsible for building relationships with Pilotlighters outside of their charity meetings through fundraising initiatives. Prior to joining Pilotlight, Gemma spent four seasons with the British Ski and Snowboard Federation managing athletes, events and corporate relationships.

Michelle Davitt, Senior Project Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Michelle is responsible for managing the relationships between Pilotlighters and charities. She facilitates the whole process from beginning to end. Michelle has over 6 years' experience of working in the voluntary sector in Scotland, including managing a small charity.

Dehra Sweet, Senior Project Manager, (Maternity Leave) Pilotlight Scotland

Before joining Pilotlight, Dehra spent 3 years working in events and corporate fundraising for two Scottish charities. Prior to that she spent 4 years as a learning & development co-ordinator for a leading global retail firm, giving her significant experience of facilitating leadership and development courses. Dehra now project manages a number of charities and the associated Pilotlight teams.

Allan Farmer, Project Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Allan joined Pilotlight in April 2009 and is responsible for managing a range of charity and Pilotlighter relationships. With over five years of employment in the voluntary sector, his past work has involved project management, the establishment and management of an innovative social enterprise and business acquisition. Allan also has experience as both a volunteer and a Board member for a children's charity.

Ken Campbell, Project Manager, Pilotlight Scotland

Ken joined Pilotlight in October 2009 and is responsible for managing the relationship between Pilotlighters and a range a charities. Ken has over 20 years' experience in the public sector and worked for 2 years as a volunteer in Tanzania. He has recently helped to set up a new international sports and youth development charity.

Ann Jamieson, Administrator, Pilotlight Scotland

Annie joined Pilotlight in September 2007 as administrator, undertaking all the support functions for the Scotland team. Before having her son she was Operations Manager with a printing franchise.

Sam James, Intern

Sam is a business studies graduate from The University of Edinburgh and joined Pilotlight in March 2010 as a Project Management Intern, responsible for charity recruitment and project management administration.  Sam has several years' experience volunteering with CSE initatives and is currently involved with the youth activity group, The Big Project.
