About Pilotlight Cymru
In 2008, Pilotlight undertook a consultative feasibility study into the need for Pilotlight in Wales.  The result was overwhelmingly positive. Thank you again to everyone who gave their time and advice.

Our plans:
Pilotlight has re-examined its plan for Wales to ensure that, despite economic circumstances, it can and will unlock Wales’ best business brains for the good of Welsh communities.

The new plan takes advantage of Pilotlight’s existing staffing to build Pilotlight Wales, initially using membership and charity/project management expertise already within the organisation to start working in Wales right away.

What happens now?

Pilotlighters
We are fortunate to be supported by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Big Lottery; however, to achieve our goal of helping Welsh partner charities to grow and sustain themselves, we need the skills of senior business people. These are our Pilotlighters, who can make a real difference by coaching charities through a strategic planning process.

Supporters will be investing in a proven concept that harnesses business skills to enhance the impact of local charities. We’d be happy to send you our 2008 Evaluation Summary for information about Pilotlight’s impact.

For more information about becoming a Pilotlighter please click here. However, please note that the member donation for individuals is different in Wales.
