Fiona Halton, Chief Executive
![]() | Fiona Halton is the chief executive of Pilotlight. She has a track record in initiating and running new organisations. She initiated British Film Year which won The British Sales and Marketing Award and for which she was runner up for Veuve Cliquot Business Woman of the Year. Fiona was part of the team that ran the first day of Comic Relief which raised more than £13 million. |
Gillian Murray, Deputy Chief Executive
Gillian is responsible for common policies, procedures and innovation across Pilotlight. She manages communications and leads on development of senior staff. Gillian has been with Pilotlight since October 2005; her background is in training and international development. |
Tracey Ould, PA to Chief Executive
Tracey is Fiona's PA. Tracey has worked in various organisations prior to joining Pilotlight. Latterly, she spent five years at a charity working in youth education. |

Kate Priest, Grants Writer
Kate is Pilotlight's grant writer and is responsible for securing funding for each of our locations. She has over ten years of experience in the voluntary sector and before coming to Pilotlight worked for the British Deaf Association and Alone in London. |
Sue Beenstock, Press and PR Manager
Sue is press and PR manager and should be your first port of call with any press queries. She started her media career as a freelance journalist for local newspapers in Australia and was responsible for the story, Green light for first traffic signals in rural Vic. On her return to the UK she worked for Haymarket Publishing, followed by 14 years freelancing for national newspapers and magazines. In 2002 she qualified as a secondary school English teacher, started a blog and handled press and PR for a local Jewish community organisation.
