MASH is the only organisation in Greater Manchester which exists specifically to support women who sex work. Many are working and surviving on the streets and are some of the most stigmatised and vulnerable women in society. Despite having the highest and most complex needs, they often fall through the cracks of mainstream services and face huge barriers to support and opportunities. Through the charity's expert team of caseworkers, its drop-in centre, its outreach vehicle and sexual health nurse, MASH builds trusted relationships to keep women safer, healthier and better equipped to take control. The charity works with women where they are at, offering a trauma informed and holistic approach.
