Use cases
Deloitte
Deloitte
Pilotlight worked with Deloitte to co-design an Impact Day connecting its Proud Network with LGBTQIA+ charities, including Just Like Us. The format paired business professionals with charity leaders to explore real-world challenges and co-create practical solutions.
For Deloitte, it was professional development in action: inclusive leadership, collaboration, and deeper understanding of LGBTQIA+ issues. For Just Like Us, it delivered clarity, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of confidence.
Together, they showed how skills-based volunteering can create mutual learning, amplify inclusion, and deliver results that matter.
Deliveroo
Deliveroo
Pilotlight worked with Deliveroo to run its first skilled-volunteering Impact Day, bringing colleagues together with charities addressing hunger and poverty, including the Trussell Trust.
Business and charity teams co-created practical ideas to scale impact and strengthen operations.
For Deliveroo it was a fresh way to apply professional expertise and collaborate across teams.
For the Trussell Trust it provided strategic insight, validation and renewed momentum in the fight against food insecurity.
Barclays
Barclays
Through Pilotlight’s Inclusive Leadership programme, Barclays employees partnered with the United African Association to solve real operational challenges.
Over twelve weeks, cross-department teams streamlined volunteer structures and introduced digital tools that lightened the charity’s workload.
Barclays participants built inclusive leadership skills in a live setting, while UAA gained practical fixes and new energy for its mission.
The result: stronger leaders on both sides and a clearer path for community impact.
