Liverpool Mencap

Liverpool Mencap is a local charity that promotes equality for people with a learning disability, helping them to discover new opportunities, make new friends, and feel valued and safe in their community. It aims to prevent social isolation and enable people to progress. It does this through the provision of outreach, befriending, social events, workshops and peer mentoring.
Liverpool Mencap is a member of the Mencap network, but effectively is fully independent.
