Pilotlight is delighted to announce the expansion of its partnership with Birmingham-based financial services firm, Wesleyan.

The partnership first began in the summer of 2020 debuting a new initiative - Conversation for Change.

Due to its success 48 Wesleyan Senior Leaders will join Pilotlight as Pilotlighters and enable eight charities to take part in the same initiative in March & July 2021, with charities in the Midlands and the North West.

Conversation for Change, distils the essence of Pilotlight’s strategic development programmes into a single, 90-minute virtual meeting with up to eight senior business leaders.

Emma Duff, Senior Talent & Leadership Development Consultant at Wesleyan, said:

“We chose Conversation for Change to kick off our Senior Leader development programme as an innovative way of encouraging our leaders to collaborate together and solve strategic level challenges. We’ll be building on this experience by introducing monthly peer to peer coaching sessions, focusing on our own strategic opportunities. This way, we’ll strengthen ourselves into a tight-knit, high performing Senior Leader team that collaborates together to achieve success. Our Senior Leaders have found this initiative with Pilotlight to be a creative development experience, allowing them to develop themselves at the same time as helping charities.”

Bruce McCombie, Deputy Chief Executive at Pilotlight, said:

“I’m excited to see that not only was the original partnership with Wesleyan a great success, but we will also be extending our partnership to help a broader range of charities across the Midlands and North West of England.
