Bassetlaw Action Centre exists to promote independence through a range of community projects including: befriending, community transport, home support, housing advice, benefits support, support for people with long term conditions, IT training and support to become more active. The organisation is based in Retford but work throughout Bassetlaw.
Bassetlaw Action Centre, Aurora and Bassetlaw Citizens Advice make up the Reaching People Bassetlaw Partnership. Reaching People Bassetlaw Partnership participated in the Pilotlight Programme. For stories from the programme take a look at the case studies.
