The Avenues Youth Project aims to help young people in this area of high child poverty, to socialise, develop positively and safely, and learn confidence and skills. It provides after school and holiday care, activities, visits and workshops, reducing the risk of young people becoming involved in unsafe activities such as gangs and drugs and helping them to fulfill their potential.
