The Regional Theatre Young Director Scheme (RTYDS) is the UK’s longest running programme of professional development for theatre directors/ theatre makers. It offers bespoke training opportunities from the earliest stages of a director’s career right up to leadership development, which includes craft and career workshops and paid 18-month residencies.
