Joe Swann, Senior Project Manager at Pilotlight London, is part of the leadership group for the 2009 Caux International Conferences, a series of events to be held in Switzerland this summer.
The title of the series this year is "Trust and Integrity for a Sustainable World” and it will run from 9th July to 15th August. Joe is particularly involved in delivering “Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy 2009” (TIGE 09) from 24th to 29th July. Joe describes TIGE 09 as a uniquely intergenerational, intercultural and participatory conference exploring some of the challenges that each of us face as members of the global economy; including an impending global recession, crises in financial systems and food and water shortages. The conference invites young professionals, business leaders, social entrepreneurs, and anyone with a sense of concern to work together to strengthen capacity for integrity-based decision making.
