If you are interested in learning more about what’s involved in being a trustee of a charity in the UK, Pilotlight London’s 2009 Governance Events have been designed with you in mind.
Join us for two evening sessions to hear from experts in Governance, and receive personal accounts from a Trustee Chair and Charity Director on what it takes to be an effective member of a board of trustees. Attendees will learn about the benefits and pitfalls of being a trustee, as well as the liabilities associated. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of what’s involved and expected of you in taking on a trustee role in the UK, along with suggestions in how to go about finding a charity to support.
