We are pleased to congratulate three of our fantastic Partner Charities, CareTrade, Working With Men and the Albert Kennedy Trust, for their recognition at the very prestigious European Diversity Awards and National Diversity Awards.

Shortlisted for two categories and up against some serious competition from organisations across Europe, CareTrade won Charity of the Year at the European Diversity Awards. These awards recognise and celebrate organisations and individuals working to improve the lives of people living under challenging circumstances due to gender, disability, sexual orientation, age, race, culture and religion. CareTrade has a great impact on the lives of young adults with autism, helping them fulfil their potential and be as independent as possible.

Working With Men (WWM) won the prestigious Community Organisation Award for Gender at this year’s National Diversity Awards. The organisation works with boys and men from disadvantaged backgrounds providing them with the necessary tools to become productive and active members of society. WWM has become the first organisation working exclusively with boys and men to receive this award.

Tim Sigsworth, chief executive of the LGBT homelessness charity, Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT), was highly commended in the Campaigner of the Year category at the European Diversity Awards. AKT works to ensure all LGBT young people are able to live in accepting, supportive and caring homes.

We are always proud of our partner organisations and the fantastic work they do, but it is extraordinary to see them being recognised at such a grand scale.
