Stockport Without Abuse is an innovative and responsive charitable organisation who aim to meet the changing needs of victims of domestic abuse. All of their work is underpinned by a mission and belief that everyone has a right to live in safety and to have a future without fear of domestic abuse. Providing safe accommodation for victims including women, and their children and also male victims. They have a team of dedicated Independent Domestic Violence Advisers(IDVA’S) supporting high risk victims, plus specialist support for male victims, victims over the age of 55 and children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse. Stockport Without Abuse also work in the community raising awareness of domestic abuse, particularly in school settings. Their team of committed staff and Trustees have risen to the unprecedented challenges of COVID and worked tirelessly to provide continued support to victims throughout the pandemic.
