Shropshire RCC is committed to making Shropshire, Telford and Wreklin a great place for everyone to live, no matter what challenges are faced. In a large rural county these challenges include poor public transport, lack of public services, low levels of community facilities and the challenges of growing older, particularly those in poverty. The charity works with the whole community but primarily: older people (particularly those who are lonely and isolated or who have a disability), people who are unemployed because of a lack of transport but could work if they could get an employer, people who live in rural poverty.
