Recovery Cymru is a peer-led, mutual aid, recovery community that empowers people to achieve and maintain recovery from drug and/or alcohol misuse while supporting others to do the same. This is achieved through two drop-in, open access recovery centres in Cardiff and the Vale which offer recovery groups, social and diversionary activities, telephone support and a volunteering programme. The centres also provide a safe space for members to meet and interact with other members of the community. Activities are community-led as members empower and support each other to move forward in recovery, develop skills and interests and to improve their quality of life.
